Celebrate the big and little kids going back to school with these adorable little pencil treats! They are so easy to make and are a fun activity to do together or create as a surprise lunch box treat!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Trim your wafer cookies with a paring knife to create a pencil tip.
  2. Melt your bright white candy melts for 30 seconds in the microwave and stir. Continue melting for 10 second intervals stirring in between just until melted. Create the perfect eraser pink with a couple drops of rose pink and coral oil based coloring. Dip the untrimmed ends of your wafer cookies in the pink candy melts to create your eraser tips and set on parchment paper until firm.
  3. Melt additional bright white candy melts in the same manner just until melted. Dip your trimmed wafer cookie ends in the white candy melts to create your sharpened pencil tip and set on parchment paper until firm.
  4. Once the candy melts on your pencils are firm you are ready to add the pencil tip. Unscrew the lid from your black chocolate drip and trim the bottle end. Melt 20-30 seconds at a time in the microwave squeezing the bottle in between melting intervals. Once just melted screw the top back on and give it a good shake to ensure it's mixed well. Add a little black pencil tip to your pencil cookies and set on parchment until firm.
  5. Store in an airtight container or enjoy immediately!
