We can't think of a more fun spooky season activity than creating silly faces on Frakenstein cookies! Featuring green cookie dough and edible googly eyes, these cookies bring giggles to everyone!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whip up a batch of our perfect cut out cookie dough and color green with a few drops of green gel food coloring. Chill dough for at least an hour.
  2. Roll out your dough and cut out your Frakenstein shapes. Bake and let cool.
  3. Make a batch of royal icing and color black. When coloring black icing keep in mind that you can color to a charcoal gray, it will turn black as it develops over a few hours.
  4. Fill a piping bag fitted with a small coupler.
  5. Using a #4 round tip pipe the outline of Frakenstein's hair and fill. We like to fill by piping back and forth lines, then swirling the icing with our tip to achieve full coverage. Give your cookie a gentle shake to encourage the icing to smooth.
  6. Change your tip to a #1 round tip and pipe Frakenstein's facial details and "glue" on his eyes.
